See wiringdiagrams.Fuses – Standard 5-amp Mini Automotive fuses areutilized to act as circuit switches when they are inserted(closed/on) or removed (open/off.) The fuses also providelightning protection when the electrical surges exceed thecapacity of the 5-amp fuse(s.) The isolation of circuit sectionseliminates or minimizes electronic component failure.Test Posts – These posts (silver dots in the wiring diagrams tothe right) are accessible when the threaded cap is removed.This allows the measurements of voltage and current flow. Itmay be necessary to use a “True RMS” multi-meter to performthese tests. Consult with the manufacturer of the decodersystem.Voltage can be measured by connecting the probes ofthe meter to the Red/Black postsCurrent flow can be measured when a fuse is removedand the probes of an in-line amp meter are connected tothe posts on each side of the empty fuse holder.Water Tight – A resin is used to waterproof the wire leads.Wire Leads – All wires are 14 AWG, Type UF/TWU directburial, 36" long. This allows the assembly to be brought abovegrade when troubleshooting and accessing the fuses.O-Ring Seal – Provides a waterproof capsule.
